It’s That Time of Year: Our Easton Location is Open for Ice Cream

The forecast is calling for temperatures in the 70’s this week, which means we are officially dreaming of summer and the sweet treats that go along with it! Fortunately, we won’t have to wait much longer to indulge, as we gear up to open our seasonal ice cream parlor at the Easton location next week.

That’s right, our Easton ice cream parlor will officially open for the season next Friday, April 26th! Will we be seeing you there?

As the weather warms up in Easton, we know there will be no shortage of places for you to stop and grab a quick cone–but nothing compares to the award-winning ice cream at Hillard’s. We’ve been doing this for nearly 30 years and use only the freshest ingredients to create our own homemade flavors. Pair that with the charming aesthetic of our old-fashioned ice cream parlor and we just know you’ll want to pull up a chair and stay a while.  The only question is, what flavor will you choose?

We asked our owners, Judy and Charlie McCarthy, what their go-to flavors are, and the results are in:

Easton, MD Old Fashioned Ice Cream ShopJudy’s Favorite:

Banana Republic – With chocolate chips and walnuts mixed into sweet banana-flavored ice cream, we’re not monkeying around when we say we can see why this is Judy’s favorite Hilliard’s flavor!

Charlie’s Choice:

Strawberry Patch – There’s nothing better than fresh strawberries on a hot summer day, unless they’re mixed into delicious sweet cream for a super refreshing treat Charlie can’t get enough of!

So do you agree with one of our owners or is there another Hilliard’s flavor that has your heart? Coffee and chocolate lover rave about our Coffee Brownie Madness flavor, while those who crave the classics can’t get enough of our Cookies and Cookie Dough–made with our own cookie dough from scratch!

The best way to decide which is truly the crowning flavor is to stop in and try them all! Mark your calendar for Friday, April 26th and we’ll see you at Hilliard’s Chocolates, right on Main Street in North Easton!
